DMZ Camp Greaves, Since 1953 DMZ Camp Greaves served as a former U.S. military base for the Second Infantry Division from July 1953, immediately following the Korean War, until August 2004, when U.S. Forces in Korea were redeployed to Iraq. This site holds tremendous historical value, preserving the tangible remnants of the U.S. Forces' presence during that era. It is also famous as a fimming location of Korean dramas(i.e. "Descendants of the Sun") and K-pop music video of NCT, a Korean boy band. Camp Greaves and Gallery Greaves visit is an optional. You will visit DMZ 3rd tunnel, Dora Observatory, and Unification Village through Unification bridge where the military checks your passports. You will see and feel the tragedy of division in the 3rd tunnel. Also you can see the North Korea in Dora Observatory. If some places are closed, they will be replaced with other place. Meeting a North Korean Defector option is available, except for Mondays.
