Krka National Park is a 75-kilometre-long complex of travertine waterfalls of the Krka River, the largest such complex in Europe. Its largest waterfall, Skradinski buk, is 46 metres high and has 6 cataracts over which the Krka River gushes having the strongest flow in spring and fall.
The park contains numerous footpaths leading through lush and invigorating vegetation, as well as wooden bridges crossing the river alongside the waterfalls. You will also visit the autochthonous ethno village with reconstructed old mills and the house exhibiting the ancient trades. After exploring the park, we will take a boat to Skradin, a beautiful ancient town. Depart from Zadar in the morning and enjoy the sights during the car ride toward our first destination, Krka National Park. Krka was proclaimed a national park in 1985 due to its special position and the mosaic distribution of various types of habitats. It is characterized by exceptionally rich and varied flora and fauna, there are more than eight hundred species and subspecies of plants that have been identified within the territory of the Park. Discover Roški waterfall and Skradinski Buk, a massive clear and natural pool with high waterfalls at one end and cascades at the other.
Afterward, we will visit Šibenik, a beautiful picturesque town on the coast, where you will visit St. James’s cathedral, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the orientation tour, you have free time to experience Sibenik.

We meet in Split/Trogir and take a 1,5h drive to Entrance Lozovac, this is the best place to start the 2km walk around the Skradinski Buk waterfall (A relaxing walk downhill as the views are building up).
After 2,5h at Skradinski Buk, we continue our journey with a boat ride down the river canyon to our second location inside the NP, the lovely little town of Skradin where you will have an opportunity to cool down with a nice swim inside of the Krka River.
And last but not least, only a 10min drive from our swimming spot we have a little city called Skradin. Let`s go for some wine tasting (included), learn about its production, and if you decide taste some of the local specialties. In total 5h inside of the NP at two locations with exceptional views, a boat ride, swimming inside of the Krka River, and an extra visit to local family food and wine tavern (agrotourism).
