This film is not a remake of anything you can find to date about working in the vineyard... But a film about my rather rich personal history, and my working philosophy. Known for its charming half-timbered houses, flower-lined canals, and quaint bridges, this historic quarter was once home to millers, tanners, and fishermen. Today, it’s a lively neighborhood filled with restaurants, cafes, and boutique shops where travelers can enjoy authentic Alsatian cuisine and soak in the romantic ambiance.

Strasbourg also serves as the official seat of the European Parliament and other major European institutions, giving the city a unique role as a symbol of unity and cooperation. Pair your meal with the region’s famous white wines, such as Riesling and Gewürztraminer, or enjoy a refreshing local beer brewed in one of the city’s traditional brasseries.

Strasbourg’s Famous Christmas Markets

Strasbourg is often called the "Capital of Christmas" for a good reason. Its Christmas market, Christkindelsmärik, is one of the oldest and most beautiful in Europe, dating back to 1570. Each year, the city transforms into a winter wonderland, with over 300 wooden chalets offering handmade crafts, festive treats, and seasonal decorations. Visitors can sip on mulled wine, sample local specialties, and enjoy live music while admiring the twinkling lights and festive atmosphere.

Beyond its stunning architecture, Strasbourg boasts a vibrant cultural scene. The city is home to numerous museums, including the Alsatian Museum, which showcases local traditions, and the Palais Rohan, housing three museums dedicated to fine arts, archaeology, and decorative arts. For modern art enthusiasts, the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art offers an impressive collection of works by French and international artists.
