I want you to understand the key events and periods that have shaped the modern identity of Lithuania, the beloved country I now call home with my wife and son. Whilst in Trakai (2.5-3 hrs) there is an optional restaurant visit with me to sample some Lithuanian classics, but also free time for water activities, exploring the castle (10€) and visiting shops. On the return we will briefly stop by the Hill of Angels, built in 2009 as a site for promoting devotion and spirituality and to celebrate the 1000-year anniversary of the first written mention of Lithuania.
